“HPU has helped me by providing classes that teach about my field and how to problem solve. HPU taught me communication skills that helped me gain self-confidence when talking with employers and others. The Office of Career and Professional Development has given me the resources employers are looking for. The staff helped me create an amazing resume and cover letter to stand out to employers. My classes have prepared me for my field and my future career.”

What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?
“My internship has been great. I’ve learned so much — from how to increase social media engagement to using platforms such as Canva for creating and editing content for social media. During my internship, I’ve gained hands-on experience in my field. I will be able to use these skills in any future position.”
