HPU Professor and Students Research NF1 Cancer Treatment

Dr. Robert Coover, assistant professor in High Point University’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy, and his students are researching treatments for a deadly inherited cancer, neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). Coover is passionate about the research because NF1 claimed the lives of his father and younger brother. HPU’s summer research opportunities provide Dr. Coover and his students the chance make a difference in the lives of others.
