How HPU helped you get there:
“I interviewed one of the partners of Meridian as part of an assignment in one of my management classes. That connection, as well as what I learned in HPU’s Real Estate Club helped pave the way to securing this internship.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU:
“Director of Student Success Pam Francisco is my most impactful mentor because she went above and beyond to step in and help me when she didn’t have to. She continues to support and encourage me.”
What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?:
“My internship has been a great experience and I have learned so much about the property management industry. I have worked in almost every department, including real estate, accounting, contracts and inspections. So much goes on behind the scenes to keep Meridian running smoothly and stay competitive in a tough market. I have attended property walk-throughs to scout new potential properties as well as fielded tenant maintenance requests, and more. My favorite visit was to an animal hospital that had recently been reconstructed after a fire some years ago. My internship was a great learning experience that makes me eager and excited for what my future has in store for me.”
