How HPU helped you get there: “My research mentors and professors helped provide opportunities to conduct data collection and present at conferences all over the country, which are exactly the types of experiences graduate schools are looking for!”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “I want to say thank you to Dr. Stacy Lipowski, associate professor of psychology, for sacrificing so much time and energy into both my personal and professional development. She has been a great support at every step along the way, and she has helped me become a more confident and capable researcher and person.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Whatever your industry requires, start the process of gaining experience sooner rather than later! Also, dream big and apply yourself toward ambitious things, but remember to keep a couple of options in your back just in case. It’s always less stressful when you have options to consider as you can thoughtfully weigh each outcome.”
