Miguel A. Sahagun holds the esteemed position of Charles T. Ingram Associate Professor of Marketing at High Point University. Dr. Sahagun obtained his Ph.D. in Marketing from The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA), his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB), and his foundation in engineering, essential to his interdisciplinary approach, from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor Degree of Industrial Engineering (BE). Dr. Sahagun’s career spans an impressive 29 years, during which he has adeptly navigated both the corporate and academic landscapes. His corporate tenure was predominately marked by contributing to the automotive and furniture industries, where he honed his expertise in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. In recognition of his profound dedication to the marketing discipline, Dr. Sahagun maintains an active presence within national and international marketing organizations, thereby fostering a global perspective that enriches his teaching and research. His research interests focus on the areas of customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, product adoption, student ethics, neuromarketing, and growth mindset.

 

Dr. Sahagun’s academic reach extends beyond the classroom as he has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences across the globe, including the United States, Canada, Cuba, Chile, China, Ecuador, Greece, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Portugal, Romania, and Spain. This international outreach underscores his mission to disseminate innovative ideas and foster cross-cultural collaborations, ultimately contributing to the enrichment of the global marketing community
