Dr. Cooper joined the faculty at High Point University in 2016 after practicing as a cardiology clinical pharmacist at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC for 12 years. During this time she precepted students and residents in cardiology, taught in the cardiology elective at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and was the founding residency program director for Cone Health’s PGY2 Cardiology Residency. Dr. Cooper is a graduate of NC State University (BS Chemistry) and the UNC School of Pharmacy (PharmD). She completed her residency training at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill NC. She and her husband of more than 20 years have two boys and love to spend time together outside. They dream of running away to the water.
