York is arranged in apartment suites of two, three, and four bedroom units with one student to each bedroom. Inside the bedroom is a bed, a desk with a chair, dresser, and a closet. Each window inside the suite has mini-blinds.
Each living room is furnished with a couch, a coffee table, a kitchen table with chairs, and some units have a linen closet. In the kitchen, there is a two-burner range top, built-in microwave, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, sink with disposal, and ample counter top and cabinet space.
York houses 202 residents in 61 apartment suites over four floors. Each floor has two lounges with plasma TV’s, a trash chute, and a common lounge in the middle of the hall. High Point University residential communities all offer central heating and cool systems, complimentary internet, complimentary cable, complimentary laundry, and comfortable study areas.
The fourth floor of York hall will house honors scholar students.
