Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16th, 1920 on the beautiful campus of Howard University in Washington, DC by 5 co-ed undergraduate women. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a community conscious, action oriented organization driven zealously to impact our communities by exemplifying our four core principles: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. We are an organization filled with diverse, intelligent, and passionate women who pride themselves in their service, and sisterhood.

National Initiative: Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel)
Examples of National Programming: Elder Care Initiative, Stork’s Nest, Zeta Prematurity Awareness Program (ZPAP), Adopt-A-School, International Women of Color
Epsilon Tau Chapter Requirements: Young women interested in chapter membership must be full time students at HPU, have a cumulative 2.5 GPA, and a completed academic credit history of 12-credit hours by time of interest.
